Restaurants, primarily featuring continental cuisine, are spread throughout the area - perfect for the well-to-do residents and museum enthusiasts that fill the area. Chic bars are making the district increasingly popular with the inhabitants of nearby Earls Court. The Royal Albert Hall is located here, with the famous annual Prom concerts attracting numerous locals and visitors.

The Barkston Gardens Hotel can be strongly recommended for those intending to visit the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, and is located within a two minute walk of Earls Court underground (tube) station.

This provides access to both District and Piccadilly Lines, the latter directly serving Heathrow airport.

Gloucester Road tube station is also nearby, giving the option of a link to the Circle Line. Underground lines afford links to the whole of central London and beyond.

The hotel offers a number of meeting rooms, one of which can accommodate up to one hundred people theatre style. There are limited email and internet facilities, with photocopy and fax services available at reception.

Please be aware that there is no disabled access to the hotel, as there are steps leading to the entrance door.
