Room 303 must be the smallest hotel room in the world, not even enough room to open the ironing board! A pity because the room was sparkling clean and i guess if i had been allocated a decent size room i would certainly use this hotel again.

A nice hotel in a nice location, but was given a room that stank of cigarette smoke and both taps ran hot water into the basin, had a bit of bother getting another room. was changed from a club room to a non club room and no concessions were given. Hotel a bit run down, broken shower tray, broken window locks.
Moved to another Shaftsbury Premier but good service

Normally I am loathed to stay in London because most hotels are over priced and of poor quality. When I arrived and was told that due to a "technical issue" I would not be staying at the Notting Hill hotel I was initially concerned. But the issue was dealt with quickly, calmly and with complete professionalism. A driver was called to take me to the nearby Shaftsbury Premier Paddington and I was well attended while I briefly waited.
I will comment on the Paddington Hotel just to give comparison: They too were professional, curtious, efficient and helpful. The room was comically compact, but was good value for money and everything was well maintained. Only gripe would be that the windows were single glazed with little noise prevention but it wasn't a very busy part of town.

We took up three apartments and all were clean, tidy and well maintained. We were very pleased with them. Just about everything we needed toiletry wise was provided. Having taken the suite package we enjoyed the complimentary extras and breakfast on Sunday morning was excellent. We will certainly think of returning the next time we need accommodation in London
OK

Stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend, booked a club room and when checking in the woman behind the desk told me she had upgraded us to a club room which was a bit strange as we already booked a club room! Room was small but very cosy. There was a bowl of fruit, tea, coffee etc a bottle of wine and a few soft drinks but was disappointed to find no fridge! As it stated in the description that there would be a mini fridge! also told that the restaurant was only open for breakfast and not dinner as advertised. Also the gym is an illusion it is merely two exercise bikes in a small cupboard sized room!
Small but good

THE ROOM WAS CLEAN BUT LUCKILY WE HAD BOOKED 2 ROOMS AS THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY 2 PEOPLE COULD POSSIBLE GET READY IN 1 OF THE ROOMS. iT WAS TINY. THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT BUT I WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. WHEN I OPENED THE WARDROBE THE IRONING BOARD FELL OUT AND THERE WAS NO WHERE ELSE TO PUT IT SO THEREFORE I COULDNT HANG CLOTHES UP AS ONLY 1 SIDE OF THE WARDROBE OPENED AS THE OTHER DOOR WAS AGAINST THE BED SIDE TABLE.

We were first given the smallest and noisiest room (in the basement)! It's unfortunate that we had to complain, after saying the room was a bit less than wonderful, they happily gave us a new room. The location is lovely with many shops and stations a stones throw away.
