The television in our room did not work and it took three reminders to get someone to look at it.
Breakfast time was hectic with not enough clean tables to sit at and not enough hot food cooked at appropriate times e.g. you could have egg and tomato but had to wait twenty minutes for sausage and mushroom.
The compact double was extremely compact with grubby net curtains and frayed bed linen.

The room we were given was clean and good but much too small for a couple. It was a single room and although we asked to be moved to a bigger room we were not offered one

Elevator broke down.
Room was hot notwithstanding the air conditioning.
Better and cheaper hotels in the same area.
Not impressed!!!

I booked a double room, described as compact. Little did I know the bed would be slightly larger than a single bed - with practically no passage space! It was so bad I asked to upgrade - the answer was a blend NO! Big old TV with five channels - we can have done without it and gained some space. The location was convenient and very accessible. The place clean. The breakfast good- fruit and cereal - which was great for my taste. Upgrade to English breakfast available at £4 which is very reasonable. No room bar. Five minutes walk to closest underground which was Earl's Court. But for the price I would have booked a more spacious room in a three star.
Absolute Dump

The room was small but clean and adequate for a one night stay. I had the continental breakfast which had a good choice of cereals, breads etc. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was good to be able to leave my bag on arrival and for later collection after checking out. The tube station was only a short walk away.
