Location is very good. Beds horribly OLD and the double bed was "cricking" even just turning on bed!!! So, no sleep at all!
WiFi=the staff said we need to go downstairs to connect, but I can see it on the wall outside our room, no explanation why, so the following day, my son went downstairs and connect it, then found out that we cannot use upstairs because of bad connections. However, when my son tried it in our room it is perfectly working!!! No internet for a night, boring! I have told the manager the discomfort we had due to the very old, squaky bed!
Great option for short break

This hotel is well located near Paddington station. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff very helpful. Didn't sample breakfast but would recommend this hotel for a long weekend in London.

An ideal clean base for a visit to London. Very convenient for the tube. Shower/toilet was very small in a cupboard and there were alot of stairs to climb to get to our room in the attic but having a fridge, kettle and microwave in the room was very convenient along with the fresh towels.
Good for a nights stay

Hotel was easy to get to from transport stops but a little dull inside. 3 star rating says it all. But no complaints really
OK accomodation - great location

Accommodation was clean and tidy. Old fashioned decor but functional with TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities and a microwave. Bed was very firm and not particularly comfortable but OK for one night's stay. Breakfast room is tiny but acceptable continental breakfast included in room cost. Location is perfect. In a quiet street within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, Hyde Park and Paddington. Would stay here again just for the convenience.

We needed to clean up after journey so went straight to room up the rickety stairs. Bedroom small but just what we needed...Functional. The bathroom however was a cupboard (3ft square). I am 6 ft and could not sit on toilet with the door closed. The sink had no running water and even though i informed the staff, nothing was done about it.
The bed and pillows were like cardboard, but not entirely uncomfortable as were very tired. The continental breakfast was pathetic. A roll and a cheese spread and some cornflakes. Ideal for Paddington Stn, and some nice walks around Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. You can find much better for your money. Will use London Nights again but not this Hotel
Great location, friendly staff

The location is close to Hyde Park and Bayswater and transport options but in a fairly quiet street. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and served our purposes.
average room - continental breakfast??

Excelent location for Hyde Park. An average room however very small shower and sink. Had the 'continental' breakfast but this consisted of instant coffee, cornflakes, stale bread rolls, jam and processed cheese triangles. Needless to say we went to get breakfast elsewhere.

Convenient and Clean

I stayed here for one night with a friend (both in our mid-20's), in a twin room that was just large enough for 2 single beds. We were put in a room on the 3rd floor, and there were no lifts but very steep stairs. We were okay with this, but any elderly visitors would find this very difficult.
The bathroom was about the size of a regular shower cubicle, but they managed to put a toilet, sink and shower in here. It was a very uncomfortable shower...
That being said, the hotel was very central, only a 3 minute walk from Lancaster Gate tube station. The staff were friendly and the room clean. The lack of space was the only drawback. I would not return to this hotel.
Cheap and clean

If you need somewhere to sleep that is cheap, clean, safe and close to public transport this is the one for you. It was a little noisy with people coming in in the early hours and the walls were pretty thin but if it's only for a night or two it's okay. Would stay here again.
