Room was small. Bathroom was very small. Some staff were not particularly interested nor helpful. No lift to upper floors.
It was clean but I still would not use it again, or recommend it to anyone else.

decent hotel, lackluster service and no wireless internet
Booker, Party type: Young couple - Posted: Sunday 4th April 2010
The hotel was well located near Paddington Station, convenient to many locations and within walking distance of Hyde Park. There was no wireless internet to be had. Room was smallish but comfortable and clean. Amenities were minimal in the room (one small bar soap, and towels, nothing more.) The front desk service ranged from polite but detached to unhelpful and surly. The hotel was a good value, but not memorable in any way.

Nice little hotel conveniently located close to Paddington Train Station (only a few minutes walk); souvenir shops, pubs, small supermarkets and eateries within reach. My boyfriend and I were in London to visit so we did not spend much time in the hotel - the room was sufficient for the amount of time we spent inside. The shower was really nice and the room looked tidy. However, a drawer was broken and the TV did not have a remote. The breakfast was ok-ish - good but not spectacular(choice between English breakfast = beans, eggs and toast and "American" breakfast = milk and cereals). The staff was nice, especially in the morning. The night staff was not very knowledgeable about how things are run in the hotel but the morning staff was very helpful (gave us hints about transportation). We initially planned to stay one night but then decided to stay one more - we were given the same rate for the room which was very nice as our initial rate was 10 pounds lower as we booked through londonnights.com

Very good value - room was clean and comfortable, good bathroom and TV. No tea/coffee facilities, though, which was a little disappointing.
Great location and great price, would recommend highly.

Clean and tidy. The sheet on bed was far too small. No tea / coffee facilities in the room. But very good value.

Stay at Orchard House 26-18th Feb 2010
Louise Spiteri/Luke Dunn, Party type: Young couple - Posted: Monday 1st March 2010
Had a very nice stay and the room was very clean however it was extremely hot, being on the top floor (loft), the pillows and bed weren't very comfy and we were a little disappointed that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was small but filling and the staff were helpful.

Though the facilities is a little bit old, but the price and service is good to stay.
