Carpet badly stanied, 2 electric light bulbs not working, shower in poor condition, limescale preventing water flow from shower head, waste bin was rusted and lid was broken, toilet flush was broken and someone had tried to fix it with selotape, toilet roll holder and toliet brush holder were falling off the wall.
If you plan to use this hotel do not have room 101.

My one complaint would be the wash basin had no plug and when I told them at reception they said they did not put a plug in that wash basin as it blocks up they did offer to change the room but I did not want the trouble. It was a basic clean hotel and well located.

There were some quite big maintenance problems when I arrived but they were cheerfully handled and so did not detract from the stay. The room was spacious although very plain, but well-equipped. Very nice choice of breakfast items - good coffee, freshly made

Number 82 is ostensibly an hotel with limited letting facilities at 82, and more we were told along the road.
Our room was in the basement, with limited natural light.
A warning of the standard of staff was when I telephoned prior to arrival to enquire if there were toiletries in the room. I was told that of course there was a toilet and a shower. On arrival yes there were toiletries and of course the en-suite facilities as advertised. The Shower room had no heating, and will be cold in the winter. No towel rails to dry a towel on, and the extractor fan did not work. The toilet was very small and the lid/seat was loose. I tightened it with a pen knife, something staff could have acheived. The design of the toilet meant that the seat will not stay up. The shower door track was filthy and needed a really good clean. The shower-head fell apart on the first use. The room was self catering and had a small kitchen area very well designed in one corner, reminiscent of a Greek appartment. However there was not enough cutlery(only one fork), and the extractor fan and light above the rings did not work. The bed was clean and comfortable and our towels were changed daily. Staff were enthusiastic and friendly, but not really trained in the hospitality industry. There needs to be more control over housekeeping. Overall a great position but nobody is supervising the staff. It could soon be better with a better level of control.

We chose this hotel because of its location, in relationship to Marylebone railway station. Very handy for shopping and theatreland. The room was comfortable with good facilities, the staff were friendly. There is quite a lot of traffic noise through the night as it is on a main route out of London. The dining room is quite small and we had to queue for a table on one mornig, but we would certainly recommend and come again.
Perfect location, but that´s all

The good thing to say about this hotel is the perfect location, but staff, room and price need to be better. The staff is not very helpful and friendly, the room is small and the bath not clean enough. For the money we have paid for this hotel we expected much more. I can only recommend this hotel for the location, but nothing else! I would try another one for our next stay in London.

The room was ok but the curtain pole fell from the wall the first time I drew the curtains and the pedal bin in the bathroom was both dirty and broken. I reported the fact that the basin tap was dripping within half an hour of arrival but nothing was done to rectify the matter.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel and room felt clean. Unfortunately, the room we had booked (302) has a window which faces on to the interior of the hotel where there is a emergency light, this left the room quite bright throughout the night and the hotel staff were unable to do anything about it.

Property is in need of refurbishment. The lounge is a small room with bench seating against the walls with a low table in the centre. There is a bar area with a sink but no customer facilities. Overall, clean but no style or presence.
