The room was very and I mean very small, Shower room was dirty. Some one had ordered breakfast on our tab, the hotel didn't charge us but its obviously going on there so you need to make clear instructions with the desk that you don't want breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends.

It was my second stay time at this hotel and my first experience was better. Single rooms are small but comfortable with a nice décor. You get all facilities you may need including shoe polish wipes replaced daily and the rooms are kept clean. On a downside, this time the bathroom was rather small, the shaver socked didn't work (stuff have failed to fix that despite a multiple notices), basin was blocked and they didn't do much about it either. Overall I was expecting better from a 4* hotel. On the other hand it is a good value for money.

this is the second time i have been at this hotel but only the first time i booked it. This time London was booked out but this hotel was available (makes you ask why) and when i booked it i was put into a shoebox of a room. no iron, no haridryer, just a bed and four walls i could literally touch from the bed itself. price was £150 for one night.
Best Western Shaftesbury Paddington Court or was it???

Found hotel but after checking in was advised that I would be moved to another htoel at top of same street. Room was very pokey (small) bit like an crusie ship cabin, everything in it but very compact and in roof space and would have been unbearably hot if it wasnt for the air conditioning which worked well. Cant say I was overjoyed at this experience. Reception at 2nd hotel asked me to register again which i refused after already filling out forms at first venue. Welcome was formal but not over friendly

I wouldn't recommend this hotel simply due to the size of the rooms - you seriously couldn't swing a cat in there - any the only way to get in bed was from the bottom - both sides were up against the wall. Wouldn't stay there again - I think they should mention extremely small room sizes when booking.

I booked a twin room, and upon arrival was told there wasn't one available (despite booking some time ahead). I was given a double room, which was absurdly small. The bed was tiny - the wardrobe wouldn't open as the doors were blocked by the bed. Similarly, you couldn't sit behind the desk as the chair couldn't be pulled back (again the bed was in the way). The room was shabby, dark and dingy. It overlooked a small courtyard area which was full of cigarette butts and discarded fast food containers. I called Reception to ask for a different room - they eventually offered two single room at no extra cost. These rooms okay, but could still have done with an update! They were much cleaner, and certainly better than the first room!I have to say that the gentleman on Reception who dealt with me was quite helpful and polite. I probably wouldn't stay in this hotel again - I have paid a similar price and had nicer rooms in hotels with a better location.

Bit of a climb up the stairs however very clean and comfortable and ideal for Paddington Station - Went nice and quiet after midnight.

Really good location, nice and clean and helpful staff. Little bit pricey however I guess that's the premium you pay for the location.
Would definitely stay again.
