A superb hotel for theatre and shopping, perfect position. Room was lovely, staff very friendly and breakfast excellent. my only comment is I would have liked a very soft pillow as found the pillows were rather firm for my liking. otherwise fantastic and will use again

Club room was very clean and bathroom spotless.
Breakfast was good with a fair selection of both fried and continental styles.
Bed was large and comfortable.
Centrally located for lots of theatres.
Just one critisism the hotel did not have a bar.
Theatre break

A very comfortable room with everything we needed for a one night stay in London. Near to shops and theatres. Very helfpul staff - nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. We had an upgrade to a Club Room - the room was adequate but not large by any standard, so I suspect the basic rooms are very small.

1 night stay in central london
Booker, Party type: Business traveller - Posted: Thursday 18th March 2010
The hotel was as expected, for a relatively cheap hotel in central london (i.e. under £150 per night). The room was tiny (& no desk space to speak of) and quite noisy but then it was just me staying for one night. The location was very good, and if you just want somewhere to crash then the hotel is OK.

For the price I would have expected the common areas to be larger and more attractive. The corridors were drab, the restaurant also internal and drab.
Breakfast was accompanied by a large noisy TV which noone was watching and which was very intrusive.
Worst of all we were told that we were entitled, as Club customers, to breakfast in a Club Lounge but when arriving at the Restaurant for breakfast were told by staff that there was no Club Lounge and that breakfast was served only in the noisy restaurant. We mentioned this to a receptionist who seemed embarrassed and told us that the staff were agency staff! I pointed out that they should have received some training.
On a more positive note, our room facilities were excellent.
